Nancy and I took a day to visit some of the damaged areas in New Orleans. We visited the two homes where she lived in the Uptown area. Then went to the 9th Ward area, and finally over to the Lakeview area. Whatever you have heard, whatever you have seen, believe me, it is worse than whatever image you have in your mind.
Many businesses remain closed. As you can see, this Uptown property has space available. Note the markings on wall which indicate that the property was searched on September 25, someone's pet was located.
